Change of Trading Name
We shall be trading under the name of "Norfolk Contracts" in future. This gives a better idea of our business than "Premier Data Technologies Ltd." which was coined as a name when the main aim of the company was the sale of packaged software.

Upcoming Events
(April 13th 2010) UK Access User Group National Seminar - Alan Cossey will be giving another presentation to the UK Access Group National Seminar at the Microsoft campus at Reading on May 27th. The subject will be Data Macros (a new feature avaiable in Access 2010 which is due out on May 12th). Alan has been part of an invitation-only group of developers who has had access to beta (trial) versions of Access 2010 since September 2009, i.e. 9 months before the official launch date and thus has been able to gain an in depth knowledge of the product well before its official launch. The presentation is entitled:
Only Real Access Developers Use (Data) Macros!
Microsoft has turned the world of Access macros upside down. Prior to Access 2010, macros were rarely used by developers, though there was a hint of things to come in Access 2007. Access 2010 has introduced the concept of data macros into Access. Data macros can best be compared to triggers and stored procedures in databases such as SQL Server. Now Access is better able to separate business logic from the user interface, both with an Access front end and with the new web interface. However, such macros can be fairly complicated. Alan will help you avoid some of the pain involved in using them to their best advantage.
